DVC Rental Club is a platform that facilitates the exchange of Disney Vacation Club (DVC) membership points between members and non-members. Members can list their reservations for sale, while non-members can request custom reservations. The app supports negotiation, communication, and secure transactions, with payments made through the app and automatic disbursement to members upon check-in. Additionally, members can transfer points between each other at agreed prices. The admin dashboard offers customization, transaction tracking, and user support, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for all users.
Problem Statement
The primary challenge was to devise a system that enables DVC members to make the most of their membership points, even if they cannot use them within the stipulated time frame. Simultaneously, the platform needed to provide an avenue for non-members to access Disney resorts without the constraints of membership.
